Solat Sunat Hajat and Recitation of Surah Yassin and Doa

Saturday, 25th July 2009, to prevent the spread of Influenza A H1N1, one of the measures taken by the school was conducting a 'special' Hajat prayer with the recitation of surah Yassin and 'Doa Mencegah Wabak Influenza A H1N1'. The Hajat prayer was led by Cikgu Hj Imran bin Hj Ibrahim. This 'special' Hajat prayer is to be held every Thursday morning.

In addition, the special 'Doa Mencegah Wabak Influenza A H1N1' is recited every day at 7.30am. The Upper primary levels recite the Doa together in their respective classes with their class teachers. While the Lower primary levels recite the Doa led by Ustazah Siti Awa bin Akop in the school hall.

Routine checkup

Today is the fourth day of health checkup routine to all pupils and also teachers and school's staffs due to the outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) epidemic in the country. Everyone has to assemble before the gate for a prompt temperature checkup and health status. This is for precautionary measure of the spreading disease within the school. The school gates were closed since Monday, all outsiders are forbidden to enter school's compound unless for a sensible reason yet to do temperature checkup before enter. This situation will be ongoing until further notice and to all parents / guardians your cooperation are much appreciated.

Lets us pray to Allah SWT for our safety and good health, away from harm and to make this epidemic be gone completely. Together we prevent the spread by practicing good personal hygine, to wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer and to cover your mouth and nose with tissue paper when coughing or sneezing. Do not come to school if you're not feeling well and experiencing high fever (38^o C above), runny nose, coughing and sore throat, seek for medical attention immediately.
