Twins & Triplets of SRPT 2010

This year SR Penanjong is fortunate to have four sets of twins and one triplets. It's rare considering SRPT is a small school.

Prize Presentation 2009

Today 25 pupils were awarded with prizes for their academic excellence based on the End of Year examinations this year from this school. The prizes were presented by the school's headmistress, cikgu Rasiah binti Hj Md. Tuddin. Teachers also took the incentives awarding prizes to their pupils who performed well in their class.

School Visit: Agriculture Expo and Agri-Food 2009

Today all the pupils from Sekolah Rendah Penanjong, ranges from Pre-school to the primary 6 pupils and teachers made an educational visit to the Agriculture Expo and Agri-Food. The expo is located at Tungku Agricultural Development Area.

The children got to enjoy the tractor ride that passed through numbers of live animals and birds as well as the well arranged vegetables and fruits. The children also got involved in numbers of activities that took place during the visit.

SRPT’S HARI RAYA CELEBRATION

On October 17^th, 2009, Saturday, it was probably one of the happiest day for the school children to come to school. Sekolah Rendah Penanjong celebrated Hari Raya on that day. The different environment could be feel as early as when the children radiantly step down from their car with their colorful baru kurung and cara melayu.

The gathering was later held at the school hall. Different Hari Raya delicacies could be seen on the big table of each class as one entered the hall. To entertain the headmistress, teachers, staffs and school children, the celebration was further with stage performances by the Year 6 students with Hari Raya songs, a mini drama, dance and a stylish fashion show by the children ranging from Pre School to Year 6 students.

The event ended with the recital of doa and the treat of various refreshments.

Solat Sunat Hajat and Recitation of Surah Yassin and Doa

Saturday, 25th July 2009, to prevent the spread of Influenza A H1N1, one of the measures taken by the school was conducting a 'special' Hajat prayer with the recitation of surah Yassin and 'Doa Mencegah Wabak Influenza A H1N1'. The Hajat prayer was led by Cikgu Hj Imran bin Hj Ibrahim. This 'special' Hajat prayer is to be held every Thursday morning.

In addition, the special 'Doa Mencegah Wabak Influenza A H1N1' is recited every day at 7.30am. The Upper primary levels recite the Doa together in their respective classes with their class teachers. While the Lower primary levels recite the Doa led by Ustazah Siti Awa bin Akop in the school hall.

Routine checkup

Today is the fourth day of health checkup routine to all pupils and also teachers and school's staffs due to the outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) epidemic in the country. Everyone has to assemble before the gate for a prompt temperature checkup and health status. This is for precautionary measure of the spreading disease within the school. The school gates were closed since Monday, all outsiders are forbidden to enter school's compound unless for a sensible reason yet to do temperature checkup before enter. This situation will be ongoing until further notice and to all parents / guardians your cooperation are much appreciated.

Lets us pray to Allah SWT for our safety and good health, away from harm and to make this epidemic be gone completely. Together we prevent the spread by practicing good personal hygine, to wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer and to cover your mouth and nose with tissue paper when coughing or sneezing. Do not come to school if you're not feeling well and experiencing high fever (38^o C above), runny nose, coughing and sore throat, seek for medical attention immediately.

Sukan Ria dan Jamuaan Perpisahan

13hb Jun, warga sekolah telah mengadakan aktibiti Sukan Ria yang dimulakan dengan senam robik beramai-ramai dan seterusnya aktibiti-atibiti yang dikelolakan oleh guru-guru sekolah untuk murid-murid. Semua muria dari pra hingga tahun 6 mengambil bahagian dalam sukan ria ini seperti 'bealang belatuk', Chinese whisper', Lari dalam guni', 'Meniup Belon hingga pecah', 'Menutip gula-gula terbanyak' dan sebagainya. Guru-guru dan kaki tangan juga tidak ketinggalan dalam memeriahakan lagi sukan ria ini seperti bermain futsal 5 orang sepasukan, bola jaring, mengolek kelapa tua, memakan buah oren dan sebagainya.

Sukan ria diakhiri dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada murid-murid dan seterusnya jamuan perpisahan bagi guru-guru dari Universiti Brunei Darussalam yang telah memberikan khidmat mereka dan memberi sokongan dalam menjayakan apa jua aktibiti sekolah ini. Ckg Azura Abdullah yang telah sama-sama berusaha mengajar murid-murid sekolah ini selama lebih kurang 4 bulan dan juga 2 orang guru 'teaching' iaitu Ckg Khairul Anwar dan Ckg Hj. Musa yang datang untuk menimba pengalaman selama sebulan di sekolah ini. Pihak sekolah ingin mengucapkan berbanyak terima kasih di atas usaha dan sokongan yang telah diberikan kepada sekolah.
